Star Platforms Appoints Michelle Timms as Group Commercial Director
Star Platforms is pleased to announce the promotion of Michelle Timms to the role of Group Commercial Director across Star Platforms and its sister company, Star Power, a specialist generator hire company.
Michelle joined the business in February 2025 as Group Financial Controller and has made a significant impact, demonstrating strong commercial acumen, financial leadership, and strategic focus.
Before joining Star Platforms, Michelle built an 18-year career in the access industry, progressing through increasingly senior roles. She brings extensive experience and insight to the leadership team.
In her new role, Michelle will take board-level responsibility for the Group’s commercial agenda overseeing commercial strategy and financial performance. She will work closely with the leadership teams across both businesses to align their commercial approach, drive sustainable growth, strengthen the Group’s market position, and ensure all decisions are guided by robust insight and governance.
