We invested over £3million in new access platform hire equipment at our Reading depot to serve the M3/M4 corridor in the Bracknell and Reading area. With MEWP hire equipment from major manufacturers Skyjack, Niftylift and Power Towers, we provide the highest quality service to our customers in Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. We are proud to have one of the largest access platform selection for hire in the country.
Our wide selection of equipment allows us to meet all Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) needs. For instance, our cherry pickers for hire in Reading are ideally suited for people who need up, out and over capabilities for difficult to reach locations. We also offer scissor lifts for hire, which are better suited to smaller spaces and tasks that solely require a vertical access platform.
Finally, our Reading depot is renowned across the region, from Surrey to Oxford, for its IPAF training. Star Platforms is a fully accredited MEWP training centre and our Reading depot offers courses for people looking to gain the internationally recognised Powered Access Licence (PAL) Card.
