Star Platforms excels in IPAF Rental+ certification success

Powered access specialist Star Platforms has been re-certified as an IPAF Rental+ company after being awarded a 98% score during an independent audit.

Achieving the certification, which included a site visit to a Star Platforms depot, shows the company meets recognised high standards in training, equipment inventory and customer satisfaction.

The Rental+ scheme is operated by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and is used globally to identify rental companies that set standards specified by the federation.

Great achievement

Star Platforms QHSE Manager Del Patterson, who oversaw the auditing process, said the high score reflected the quality of Star Platform’s operations and services.

An independent auditor inspected Star Platforms’ South West region depot in Bridgewater, Somerset, as part of the re-certification process.

Critical quality standards

All key aspects of powered access rental operations were assessed, including maintenance, training and safety records, environmental standards, and finance, as well as company policies and procedures.

Achieving IPAF Rental+ certification confirms Star Platforms meets critical industry quality standards. It also satisfies most UK tender pre-qualification requirements, including SSIP certification.
