Star Platforms, the UK powered access company, has been awarded the Gold standard for the IPAF Rental+ certification, the highest accolade that can be awarded. This is the fourth time Star Platforms has received the certification highlighting that the company follows exemplary standards of good practice within the powered access industry.
IPAF Rental+ provides assurance to customers at every stage of the Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) hire/rental process that they’re choosing a company with the highest standards and good practice in the powered access industry. It proves that Star Platforms has been independently audited and met rigorous health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Once a company has received an IPAF Rental+ certification, they must recertify every 12 months to maintain their IPAF membership. Star Platforms has now received the Gold standard four times.
Del Patterson, QHSE Manager at Star Platforms commented: “Since the beginning Star Platforms has always been proud to put high standards and safety at the top of the list. With the IPAF Rental+ certification, we now have official certification of these standards in the way we operate. We pride ourselves not only on being able to offer fantastic machines with great customer service, but also that our practices are of the highest and safest standards. The Gold certification is a testament to the hard work of everyone at Star Platforms.”
The IPAF Rental+ certification has 3 standards, Bronze, Silver and Gold and these are audited intensely to ensure that powered access companies have a proactive approach to continual improvement.
