Star Platforms Supports Dog Rescue Centre with Anneka Rice

Last week, while airing the newest Challenge Anneka program on Channel 5, you might have seen a familiar sight. Seven Star Platforms machines were used during the program, as well as a generator from Star Power, Star Platforms’ temporary power sister company, to help rebuild the Dog Rescue Centre.

The Challenge Anneka television program, originally aired in the 80s, was hugely popular with the UK public and features the personality Anneka Rice helping people and organisations in need. In the latest episode, Anneke and the team help Foal Farm, a dog rescue project in sore need of new facilities. Anneka and her army hit the ground running, to grasp the challenge set before them and harness the power of hundreds of helpers, trades, experts, and the local community to help her make people’s dreams come true. Star Platforms and Star Power were delighted to be one.

Star Platforms was asked to support the project with the donation of working at height equipment, whereas Star Power donated their temporary power expertise and a generator, to keep the challenge running, even when traditional power sources weren’t available.

Supplying the six scissor lifts, one boom lift, safety equipment and a generator from Star Power, helped the team work safer at height and more efficiently.”
