About this MEWP Spotter Training Course

A MEWP Spotter is a designated person responsible for monitoring powered access operations in real time. They support the MEWP operator by identifying hazards, guiding safe manoeuvring, and helping avoid obstacles that may be outside the operator’s line of sight.

The MEWP Spotter and operator work together as a team to ensure safe and efficient operations on-site. This role has become increasingly important across the industry, with many contractors now assigning dedicated spotters as part of their risk assessments to reduce accidents and incidents.
