UK powered access rental company Star Platforms has appointed Giuseppe Ventrella (Pep) in the new position of Service Manager overseeing the engineering and service function for the company reporting directly to the Board.
Pep joins Star Platforms with 20 years’ engineering experience. He started his access career with Nationwide Platforms as an apprentice in 1996. During his 18 years at the company he undertook a number of roles within the engineering function including Field Service Engineer, Workshop Foreman and finally Regional Engineering Manager before leaving in 2014 to spend two years as a self-employed access Engineer.
Joint Managing Director of Star Platforms, Richard Miller, commented: “we are delighted to welcome such a respected and well known person as Pep on board in this important position where he will have full responsibility for managing engineering standards and processes in a consistent way across our growing company. As with all our appointments, the customer must come first and Pep is exactly the right person to ensure our customers enjoy an excellent experience with us providing the best possible standard of equipment at all times”.
