Star Platforms is supporting a powered access industry initiative raising funds for men’s mental health charity Andy’s Man Club.
Nathan, Key Accounts Supervisor – on Star Platform’s trade desk, will represent the business when he joins other access rental colleagues to climb England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike, on Wednesday 14th June, 2023.
They aim to scale the 3,208ft high peak in the Lake District to raise funds for the men’s suicide prevention charity that seeks to encourage men to be more open about their mental health needs.
The climb has been organised by industry partner Horizon Platforms to celebrate 12 months of their Partner Network – bringing together leading suppliers of the access platform industry.
Nathan, said: “The charity does such important work to help those who need to talk to someone. I’m proud to be a part of this climb to raise money and help make a difference in people’s lives.”
Andy’s Man Club funds free peer-to-peer support groups that meet across the United Kingdom and online to support men though the power of conversation.
Star Platforms Managing Director Richard Miller said: “This is such a worthwhile cause. We’re very glad Nathan has agreed to take part, and will be raising funds on behalf of our depots.”
