The Harness Awareness & Harness User Training course provides operators with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to use harnesses and lanyards safely when working at height, particularly when operating MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms).
This course combines e‑learning theory with a practical session, ensuring delegates understand both the principles of fall protection and correct harness usage in real‑world scenarios. Delegates must complete the online harness awareness module prior to attending the practical session, which typically takes up to 1 hour. The practical element is completed alongside an IPAF 3a / 3b operator course, resulting in certification valid for 5 years.
