Meet another new member of the fleet – The Manitou 200ATJ – the big brother (or sister) of the Manitou 160ATJ we introduced just last month.

The clever boom design and configuration provides an exceptional working envelope for operators. A maximum working height of 20m combined with an up and over clearance of 8m.

Rough terrain tyres, high ground clearance, oscillating axles and the mighty Manitou 4 wheel drive system provides the Manitou 200ATJ operator with 40% gradeability and enough power to traverse tough sites. Also the 4 wheel steer enables crab movement sideways – one of 3 steering modes providing excellent flexibility for the operator.

Platform capacity is 230kg, ample for two operators plus any equipment or materials they may have in the spacious platform.
The boom is easy to use with simple proportional controls, particularly useful when precisely positioning the platform at high altitude.
This articulated diesel boom also wears its green credentials with pride. An incremental hydraulic management system controls engine speed, resulting in lower noise levels and reduced fuel consumption.

The Manitou 200 ATJ is packed with usual safety features you’d expect from Star Platforms including rotating beacons, safety interlocks and harness points.
