Due to continuous growth, we’re seeking an ambitious graduate like you to join our team as a Sales Appointment Setter.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for setting appointments across the business looking at both new and lapsed customer accounts to support the field-based sales team.
- Work with Sales Specialists in all regions to increase the sales, volumes and margins.
- Working with sales to ensure follow-up on customer enquiries, followed up with targeted monthly campaigns
- Develop marketing strategies to increase sales, measure success and adjust accordingly to achieve agreed targets.
- Participate and be active in the company system of keeping customer records, sales planning, sales reporting, product knowledge etc.
Skills and knowledge
- Confident on the telephone with the ability to identify sales opportunities, build good relationships and network at all levels
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, effective under pressure
- Delivering high levels of customer service on every call
- Experience of in-house computer systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills so that results are delivered, and deadlines met
- Enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable with the ability to collate, capture and record sales information with good attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Construction or Plant Hire Industry.
Experience
- Previous experience of working in a sales role over the phone.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes including outlook and appointment setting.
- Experience speaking with customers or clients in the Construction or Plant Hire industry is highly beneficial.
