Niftylift’s Sustained Involuntary Operation Prevention System (SiOPS®)

What is SiOPS®?

SiOPS® is Niftylift’s secondary guarding feature and is available exclusively on Niftylift articulated boom lifts. SiOPS®, or the Sustained Involuntary Operation Prevention System, was created to help minimise injuries, or in some case fatalities, where there is a risk when working at height.

Why is it important?

The SiOPS® system protects the operator by stopping machine movement instantly when the operator comes into contact with the machine controls and faces entrapment. The HSE list entrapment as one of the top causes of fatal and serious injuries, and so it’s something you need to take seriously and protect your operators from.

What do Star Platforms offer?

At Star Platforms, we take safety seriously and that includes your operators out on site.
