Reading & Berkshire Depot

Our Reading depot is one of our newest, established in November 2017 to service the M3/M4 corridor in the Bracknell/Reading area. We invested over £3,000,000 in new equipment (predominantly from preferred suppliers Skyjack, Niftylift and Power Towers) and are now providing the highest-quality service to our customers in Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. We have one of the largest access platform selections for hire in the country.

Our wide selection allows us to meet all Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) needs. For instance, our cherry pickers for hire in Reading are ideally suited for people who need up, out and over capabilities for difficult to reach locations. We also offer scissor lifts for hire in Reading, which is better suited to smaller spaces and tasks that solely require a vertical access platform.

Finally, our Reading depot is renowned across the region, from Surrey to Oxford, for its IPAF training. Star Platforms is a fully-accredited MEWP training centre and our Reading depot offers courses for people looking to gain the internationally recognised Powered Access Licence (PAL) card.
